Emergency Student Loan Program:
Overview:
Under the Emergency Student Loan Program, one Emergency Student Loan may be borrowed per term. A maximum of $300.00 may be borrowed for up to ninety days with a service charge of $8.00 per loan. A borrower must be enrolled for the current term, with no outstanding Emergency Student Loan, and their student billing account must be in good standing. Past due charges are deducted from the proceeds of the loan. University of Oregon staff members and Community Education Students are not eligible to apply for an Emergency Student Loan. Photo ID is required, which must include a driver’s license or passport. Applications for an Emergency Student Loan are available at the Student Billing Office located on 1st floor of Oregon Hall.

Summer term Emergency Student Loan applications are available the first day a student’s class begins.
